你要登高山。（赛40：9）以赛亚书 40:9 以赛亚书 40

我们对于基督的认识像登山一样。当你到达山麓的时候你所看到的很少，山本身也显身不怎么高。囿于小山谷，所看到的东西便只有几条淙淙的流水，奔向山下的小溪。爬上小岗，山谷便在我们脚下变得大了、深广了。再向上，你便看到了附近的星罗棋布的村落，阡陌纵横的田地，你的心中必为伟大的景致欣喜异常。再往上爬，视野愈加扩展，直到你登上山顶，环观东西南北，全地都摆在你的眼前，如在衽席之上。远处，或许数百里之外的蓊郁森林，水天相接的大海，闪光似镜的江河，浓烟笼罩、高矗云端的工厂烟囱或是海口中栉比龙鳞的点点白帆，这些美景都使你欢乐兴奋，使你心旷神怡起来。你必说：“我真不知道登高之后，开了这么大的眼界。”基督徒的生活也是这样：“欲穷千里目，更上一层楼。”当我们初信基督的时候，我们所看到他的很少。我们越登高，越能发现他的荣美。但谁曾攀登到绝顶呢？谁曾量过他过于人所能测度的长阔高深的大爱呢？当保罗年迈发白的时候，战颤地坐在罗马的一个牢狱之中，比我们更能说：“我知道我所信的是谁。”因为他每一次的经验都像爬山一样，每一次患难都像从这个山峰到了另一个山峰一样，而他的死就像登上了最高峰一样，从那里他可以看到主的整个的信实和大爱，因此他把自己的灵魂交付他。亲爱的朋友，起来，登上高山的绝顶过着登峰造极的生活吧！

经文: 鸽子找不着落脚之地。（创世记八：9）创世记 8:9 创世记 8

在基督耶稣以外，你能找到安息吗？若能，那么可以肯定你所信的宗教是无用的。你不明白自己与基督的联合，也对基督不甚感兴趣，你能够满足吗？若能，你的信仰是无价值的。你若自认是基督徒，却完全满足于属世的欢乐与追求，那么你的承认是虚假的。若你的心灵在罪恶之中能感到舒适，那么，你是假冒为善的。你若感到在罪恶中放纵自己虽没有受到惩罚，但其本身就是一种严励的惩罚；你若拥有全世界且能永远住在其中，然而因为没有上帝而感到悲苦，因为祂是你心所渴求的；那么鼓起勇气吧，因为你是上帝的儿女。纵使你有罪，不完全，你仍可以因是上帝的儿女而安慰──你若犯罪心灵却没有平安，你就不是一般的罪人！你若仍然在呼喊渴求一些更美好的事物，基督没有把你遗忘，因为你也没有忘记祂。信徒不能没有主而活。在旷野的沙漠中我们无法生存，我们需要从天降下的吗哪。我们自信的瓶中倒不出一滴水来，但是我们仍饮于那紧随着我们的磐石，那磐石就是基督（参阅林前十：4）。当你靠祂而活时，你的心能高唱：“祂用美物使我所愿的得以知足，以致我如鹰返老还童。”（参阅诗一○三：5）。但是倘若你不属祂，你的财富或成就不能令你知足。有一日，你将悲哀的以智慧者的话说出：“虚空的虚空，凡事都是虚空。”（传一：2）

Evening, June 25

Scripture: “The dove found no rest for the sole of her foot.”(Genesis 8:9)

Reader, can you find rest apart from the ark, Christ Jesus? Then be assured that your religion is vain. Are you satisfied with anything short of a conscious knowledge of your union and interest in Christ? Then woe unto you. If you profess to be a Christian, yet find full satisfaction in worldly pleasures and pursuits, your profession is false. If your soul can stretch herself at rest, and find the bed long enough, and the coverlet broad enough to cover her in the chambers of sin, then you are a hypocrite, and far enough from any right thoughts of Christ or perception of his preciousness. But if, on the other hand, you feel that if you could indulge in sin without punishment, yet it would be a punishment of itself; and that if you could have the whole world, and abide in it for ever, it would be quite enough misery not to be parted from it; for your God－your God－is what your soul craves after; then be of good courage, thou art a child of God. With all thy sins and imperfections, take this to thy comfort: if thy soul has no rest in sin, thou are not as the sinner is! If thou art still crying after and craving after something better, Christ has not forgotten thee, for thou hast not quite forgotten him. The believer cannot do without his Lord; words are inadequate to express his thoughts of him. We cannot live on the sands of the wilderness, we want the manna which drops from on high; our skin bottles of creature confidence cannot yield us a drop of moisture, but we drink of the rock which follows us, and that rock is Christ. When you feed on him your soul can sing, “He hath satisfied my mouth with good things, so that my youth is renewed like the eagle's,” but if you have him not, your bursting wine vat and well-filled barn can give you no sort of satisfaction: rather lament over them in the words of wisdom, “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity!”

《竭诚为主》6月25日 从忧患中找着自己

我说什么才好呢？父啊，救我脱离这时候，但我原是为这时候来的。（约十二27-29）

约翰福音 12:27-29 约翰福音 12 身为一个圣徒，我对愁苦困难的态度，不是求神拦阻，乃是求神叫我经过痛苦的火炼，保存他造在我里面的生命。我们的主在愁苦的火中，接受了自己。他没有摆脱那时刻，却从那时刻中出来了。

我们说世上不该有忧患，但事实上忧患却存在，而且我们还要从火中体认自己。若我们企图逃避忧患，不肯面对它，实在是愚不可及的。忧患是人生中最具体的事实；硬说世上不该有忧患是无济于事的。罪恶、忧患、痛苦的确存在；我们没有资格说神容让痛苦存在是错的。

忧患虽然把人许多肤浅的东西都烧掉，却不一定使人更完美。忧患可以建立人，也可以毁灭人。在成功之中，很难建立自己，因为你会得意忘形。在枯燥而单调的生活中，也找不到自己，因你会大发牢骚。惟有在忧患的火中，你才找着自己。为什么会这样是另一回事；在圣经中，在人的经历中，都证实如此。一个从忧患中找到自己的人，很容易辨认出来。你有困难去找他，必然大得帮助，他必乐于帮助你。一个未受过苦的人，多偏于浮夸，也没有时间理会你。你若从苦难的火中找着自己，神便会使你成为别人的供应。

祈祷◆主啊，藉着你那不可逃避和满有能力的抚摸，今天向我显明你的慈爱，并在你温柔的大能中，按照你的计划使用我！

June 25 Receiving One's Self In The Fires Of Sorrow

“What shall I say? Father, save me, from this hour? But for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify Thy name.” John 12:27-29 (R.V.)

My attitude as a saint to sorrow and difficulty is not to ask that they may be prevented, but to ask that I may preserve the self God created me to be through every fire of sorrow. Our Lord received Himself in the fire of sorrow, He was saved not from the hour, but out of the hour.

We say that there ought to be no sorrow, but there is sorrow, and we have to receive ourselves in its fires. If we try and evade sorrow, refuse to lay our account with it, we are foolish. Sorrow is one of the biggest facts in life; it is no use saying sorrow ought not to be. Sin and sorrow and suffering are, and it is not for us to say that God has made a mistake in allowing them.

Sorrow burns up a great amount of shallowness, but it does not always make a man better. Suffering either gives me my self or it destroys my self. You cannot receive your self in success, you lose your head; you cannot receive your self in monotony, you grouse. The way to find yourself is in the fires of sorrow. Why it should be so is another matter, but that it is so is true in the Scriptures and in human experience. You always know the man who has been through the fires of sorrow and received himself, you are certain you can go to him in trouble and find that he has ample leisure for you. If a man has not been through the fires of sorrow, he is apt to be contemptuous, he has no time for you. If you receive yourself in the fires of sorrow, God will make you nourishment for other people.

六月廿五日信心的支票簿Faith's check book

天梯

经文:「我实实在在地告诉你们，你们将要看见天开了，神的使者上去下来在人子身上。」（约翰福音1︰51）约翰福音 1:51 约翰福音 1

即使在今天，对我们信心而言，这幕景象也是浅显易懂的。我们看到天开了，耶稣亲自向信徒开启天国的奥秘，让我们心眼得以凝视天国的奇妙和荣耀。我们不久就要进到那儿，因耶稣就是道路。

我们明白雅各天梯的解释。在天地之间，有神圣的沟通，当我们的祷告犹如馨香之祭，上达天庭，神就垂听，借着中保耶稣，回应我们的祈求。当我们见到我们的主，我们就看到这天梯，在耶稣里面有一条路直通至高者的宝座。让我们使用它，将祷告的祭献上，借着迫切恳求，我们可以过着属天的生活，拥有属灵的祝福，并使周围的人藉我们得福。

这幅天梯的景象，虽存在雅各的梦中，也可落实在实际的生活中。就在今天的每时每刻，我们可以借着天梯，进到神的面前，与神密谈，然后再下来，服侍我们地上的弟兄姐妹，让我们的同胞得救。这是神所承诺的应许。哦，主耶稣啊，让我们欢喜地看到这应许的成就。

A STAIRCASE TO HEAVEN

Scripture: "And He saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man"(John 1:51).

Yes, to our faith this sight is plain even at this day. We do see heaven opened. Jesus Himself has opened that kingdom to all believers. We gaze into the place of mystery and glory, for He has revealed it to us. We shall enter it soon, for He is the way.

Now we see the explanation of Jacob's ladder. Between earth and heaven there is a holy commerce; prayer ascends, and answers come down by the way of Jesus, the Mediator. We see this ladder when we see our LORD. In Him a stairway of light now furnishes a clear passage to the throne of the Most High. Let us use it and send up by it the messengers of our prayers. We shall live the angelic life ourselves if we run up to heaven in intercession, lay hold upon the blessings of the covenant, and then descend again to scatter those gifts among the sons of men.

This choice sight which Jacob only saw in a dream will turn into a bright reality. This very day we will be up and down the ladder each hour: climbing in communion and coming down in labor to save our fellowmen. This is Thy promise, O LORD Jesus; let us joyfully see it fulfilled.

「摩西对神说：我是甚么人，竟能去见法老，将以色列人从埃及领出来呢？」（出三11）

　　神叫摩西领以色列人出埃及，摩西再三推辞不肯去，因为他看见了三方面的困难：

　　第一　他看自己　他四十岁的时候，正是壮年，都不能叫以色列人信服他，如今八十岁了，从各方面说都不行了，所以他说：「我是甚么人。」

　　第二　他看法老　法老是凶狠不信耶和华的人，又是有权柄的君王，谁能去和他争辩交涉！摩西又是法老手下逃亡的罪犯，法老想要杀他，所以他说：「竟能去见法老。」　　第三　他看以色列人　这些以色列人也是些顽梗不化的，摩西本来好心好意去看望他们，为他们打死了欺压他们的埃及人，想得到弟兄的同情，谁知他们不明白他的心意，反而揭穿了他的秘密，所以他说：「将以色列人从埃及领出来呢？」

　　神要用摩西，但摩西不肯去；他不肯去的原因就是衹看自己、看人、看环境，却不看上面的神。看自己就软弱，看人就灰心，看环境就惧怕。八十岁的人还能有用吗？法老的势力是可怕的，无情无义的以色列人是叫人不敢沾著的。这也实在是如此。等到摩西顺从了神的时候，自己也不软弱了，法老也不可怕了，以色列人也可爱了。他仰望神的时候，一切都改变了。你软弱吗？你惧怕吗？你灰心吗？抬起头来看看你所事奉的神吧！软弱、惧怕、灰心都要消灭在神的大能中。

　　「求祂按著祂丰盛的荣耀，藉着祂的灵，叫你们心里的力量刚强起来。」（弗三16）

《荒漠甘泉》6月25日

　　“你吩咐以色列人往前走。”（出14章15节）

　　神的儿女啊，你当回想以色列人渡红海时的那段凯旋光景！他们的妇女孩子怎样因着看见自己忽然得了拯救——脱离了比死还可怕的命运——而惊讶；他们的男子怎样因着想到自己以前屡次不肯信靠神，怨恨反叛摩西而羞愧。亲爱的读者，当你看见永生的神怎样因着一人的信心，伸出他的手来将大水堆成墙垣，你就该知道神也会照样会按着你的信心给你成就。

　　当你决意顺服神的时候，不要担心顺服的结局怎样，不要去怕那阻止你前进的狂风暴浪，因为“在洪水泛滥之时，耶和华坐着为王，直到永远。”（诗29章10节）

　　风浪是神义袍的边襟，再临的征候，同在的证据。

　　大着胆信靠他！大着胆随从他！不久你就会发现：那拦阻你前进的阻力，会因着神的命令，变成自由的进路。——梅尔(F.B.Meyer)

你也变为软弱像我们一样吗？（赛14：10）以赛亚书 14:10 以赛亚书 14

言行相违的、嘴唇上相信的人，当他赤裸裸地呈露在神的面前时，他会遭受什么样的境遇呢？他能当得起：“你这可咒诅的人，离开我去吧。你曾离我行淫，我必永远掩面不见你，也不怜悯你。”当末后的大日来到，在众圣徒环视之下，这种人虽然自惭形秽，羞赧得面红耳赤，但是他要躲藏到那里去呢？还能隐讳，还能戴假面具吗？当他看到那些亵渎神的、不相信的罪人们从刑火中指着他说：“就是他，他要在地狱中传福音吗？”另一位说：“就是他，他曾因我咒骂人而责备我，但他自己却是一位假冒为善的人。”又一位说：‘啊哈！这里来了一位常唱诗、会祷告、循规蹈矩的正人君子，他常作礼拜，常夸耀自己一定会得永生。原来他也在这里！“撒但的使者们不再大费心机和气力了，那时他们可以毫不费力地把他们拖到灭亡中。本仁用沉重而庄严的诗笔描写到地狱里去的岔路，七个魔鬼用九条绳子拉着一个可怜的人离开他所承认、所走的天路，并把他从后门拉到地狱里。嘴里相信的人哪！要留意通到地狱里去的岔路！“要察看你自己是否还有信！”要仔细看看你的情形，看你是否还在基督里面。世上最容易的事，莫过于一个人在裁判自己的时候过于宽大轻约了，但是在这里我们要公正，并且要真实。对别人要公正，对于自己也要严格。要记得若你不在磐石上建筑的话，当你的房子倒塌的时候，必然倒塌得很大。愿神赐你诚实、恒心和坚定，并愿你在邪恶的日子不偏离正路。

经文: 脱离世上从情欲来的败坏。（彼得后书一：4）彼得后书 1:4 彼得后书 1

倘若你要活在复活主的能力中，就永远要摒弃所有放纵肉体的思想。一个在基督里活过来的人却住在罪的败坏中，这实在是一场悲剧。“为什么在死人中找活人呢？”（路二十四：五）活人应该住在坟墓中吗？圣洁的生活应该埋葬在肉体情欲的坟墓内吗？我们怎能一边在主的杯中有份，一边也喝撒但的杯？肯定的，你已从公开的情欲和罪恶中被释放了。你是否也在逃避撒但猎者所布下的隐蔽的、欺骗的陷阱？你是否在逃避怠惰？你是否已脱离了属肉体的“安全感”？你是否日复一日寻求超越世俗、骄傲和贪婪的生活？请记住，这是你能因上帝的宝藏而得丰盛的原因。不要让恩典的所有丰富宝藏浪费在你身上。追求成圣，接续而来的是基督徒的冠冕和荣耀。一个不圣洁的教会于世界无用，也得不到人的尊重。它只不过是可憎之物、地狱嘲笑的对象、天国嫌恶的组织。世上最坏的邪恶是通过不圣洁的教会所带来的。你是圣洁的祭司，你的行为要与主相配。你是上帝的王，你要管辖自己的情欲。你是上帝的选民，不要与罪相连。你要继承天国，要活出属天的精神，才能证明你对耶稣有真实的信心。生活中若无圣洁，心中不可能有信心。

Evening, June 26

Scripture: “Having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”(2 Peter 1:4)

Vanish for ever all thought of indulging the flesh if you would live in the power of your risen Lord. It were ill that a man who is alive in Christ should dwell in the corruption of sin. “Why seek ye the living among the dead?” said the angel to Magdalene. Should the living dwell in the sepulchre? Should divine life be immured in the charnel house of fleshly lust? How can we partake of the cup of the Lord and yet drink the cup of Belial? Surely, believer, from open lusts and sins you are delivered: have you also escaped from the more secret and delusive lime-twigs of the Satanic fowler? Have you come forth from the lust of pride? Have you escaped from slothfulness? Have you clean escaped from carnal security? Are you seeking day by day to live above worldliness, the pride of life, and the ensnaring vice of avarice? Remember, it is for this that you have been enriched with the treasures of God. If you be indeed the chosen of God, and beloved by him, do not suffer all the lavish treasure of grace to be wasted upon you. Follow after holiness; it is the Christian's crown and glory. An unholy church! it is useless to the world, and of no esteem among men. It is an abomination, hell's laughter, heaven's abhorrence. The worst evils which have ever come upon the world have been brought upon her by an unholy church. O Christian, the vows of God are upon you. You are God's priest: act as such. You are God's king: reign over your lusts. You are God's chosen: do not associate with Belial. Heaven is your portion: live like a heavenly spirit, so shall you prove that you have true faith in Jesus, for there cannot be faith in the heart unless there be holiness in the life.“Lord, I desire to live as oneWho bears a blood-bought name,As one who fears but grieving thee,And knows no other shame.”

《竭诚为主》6月26日 总趁现在

我们……劝你们，不可徒受他的恩典。（林后六1）哥林多后书 6:1 哥林多后书 6

你昨天所得的恩典，今天已不合用了。恩典是神丰盛的恩宠；你随时随地都可以取用。“在许多的忍耐、患难、穷乏、困苦”－－这些都是忍耐的考验。你在这些事上有没有失去神的恩典？你有没有说：“算啦，这次不计其内。”问题不在于祷告求神帮助；乃是现在就取用神的恩典。我们往往把祈祷当作工作的准备，但在圣经里根本不是如此。祈祷是支取神恩典的一种操练。

不要说：“我只管忍受一下，等到苦难过去就好好的祷告祷告。”现在就祈祷吧！在正有需要时，支取神的恩典吧。祈祷是最实际的事，而不是虔诚的一种反射行动。祷告是支取神恩典最后学习的功课。

“鞭打、监禁、扰乱、劳动”－－在这一切事上不断支取神的恩典，会使你成为别人眼中的奇迹。现在就支取，不是等一会儿才做。属灵的字汇中有一个词语，就是现在。不管环境怎样，只管不断支取神的恩典。你支取神的恩典一个最大的明证，就是在你受人羞辱时，所表彰的除了神的恩典之外，再无别的。

“一无所有……”不再有任何保留。要把你最好的倾尽，常常贫穷无有。对神所赐的礼物，绝不精打细算地收藏。这就是贫穷中的胜利。

祈祷◆噢，主啊，求你今天赐下你的恩典。

June 26 Always Now

“We . . . beseech you that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.” 2 Corinthians 6:1

The grace you had yesterday will not do for to-day. Grace is the overflowing favour of God; you can always reckon it is there to draw upon. “In much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses” – that is where the test for patience comes. Are you failing the grace of God there? Are you saying – Oh, well, I won't count this time? It is not a question of praying and asking God to help you; it is taking the grace of God now. We make prayer the preparation for work, it is never that in the Bible. Prayer is the exercise of drawing on the grace of God. Don't say – I will endure this until I can get away and pray. Pray now; draw on the grace of God in the moment of need. Prayer is the most practical thing, it is not the reflex action of devotion. Prayer is the last thing in which we learn to draw on God's grace.

“In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours” – in all these things manifest a drawing upon the grace of God that will make you a marvel to yourself and to others. Draw now, not presently. The one word in the spiritual vocabulary is Now. Let circumstances bring you where they will, keep drawing on the grace of God in every conceivable condition you may be in. One of the greatest proofs that you are drawing on the grace of God is that you can be humiliated without manifesting the slightest trace of anything but His grace.

“Having nothing . . .” Never reserve anything. Pour out the best you have, and always be poor. Never be diplomatic and careful about the treasure God gives. This is poverty triumphant.

日子近了

经文:「你们也当忍耐，坚固你们的心，因为主来的日子近了。」（雅各书5︰8）雅各书 5 《雅歌》最后一句话是“我的良人哪，求你快来！”雅歌8:14 雅歌8 《启示录》中最后新妇与圣灵曾说︰“快来！”属天的新郎回答：“我必快来！“因着爱，我们渴望主的荣耀临到，并享受祂甜蜜的应许——主来的日子近了“。这节经文将存在我们的心中，直到永远，赐我们无限盼望。啟示錄 22:6-21 啟示錄 19:5-10(羊羔的婚筵)

这神圣的应许，像透进窗棂的天光，照亮我们目前的光景，无论是在患难中，或压力下，我们都能面对困难，甘之如饴。我们正在经受试炼吗？圣灵的同在正轻声微语︰要忍耐。我们因为看不到栽种的效果而灰心丧志吗？这荣耀的真理再次向我们呼喊︰要忍耐。接二连三的试探，正把我们冲击得东倒西歪吗？主会通过这节经文向我们讲话：“坚固你们的心。“让我们站立得稳，坚屹不移，在圣工上坚守到底。不久你会听到银号角响起，欢迎王的再临。不要害怕，紧抓住神的应许，祂来的日子近了，或许就在今天！

IT WILL NOT BE LONG

Scripture: "Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the LORD draweth nigh"(James 5:8).

The last word in the Canticle of love is, "Make haste, my beloved," and among the last words of the Apocalypse we read, "The Spirit and the Bride say, Come"; to which the heavenly Bridegroom answers, "Surely I come quickly." Love longs for the glorious appearing of the LORD and enjoys this sweet promise - "The coming of the LORD draweth nigh." This stays our minds as to the future. We look out with hope through this window.

This sacred "window of agate" lets in a flood of light upon the present and puts us into fine condition for immediate work or suffering. Are we tired? Then the nearness of our joy whispers patience. Are we growing weary because we do not see the harvest of our seed-sowing? Again this glorious truth cries to us, "Be patient." Do our multiplied temptations cause us in the least to waver? Then the assurance that before long the LORD will be here preaches to us from this text, "Stablish your hearts." Be firm, be stable, be constant, "stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the LORD." Soon will you hear the silver trumpet which announces the coming of your King. Be not in the least afraid. Hold the fort, for He is coming; yea, He may appear this very day.

当神宣召一个人为祂工作的时候，人都象摩西一样有三方面的难处：

　　第一　看自己的不够：身体不够条件、学问不够条件、没有口才、没有智慧、各样都觉著不够。不够并不是谦卑，确实是不够条件。

　　第二　看见种种的拦阻：父母的拦阻、妻子的拦阻、儿女的拦阻、生活问题的拦阻、别人的饥笑辱骂，甚至逼迫欺侮。

　　第三　看见工作的艰难：讲道人家不肯听，凭著爱心去救人，反而引起许多误会；信徒都不冷不热，自己不服事神，却专门找别人的错。

　　忘记了神是自有永有的，忘记了神是全能的，忘记了是神要用我。我们既清楚了神的宣召，就不用看自己，也不看人，也不看工作，衹仰望那位召我们的神。神既然要用我们，那是祂验中了我们，我们就不当再看自己，因为神有能力，并用不著我们肉体的力量；神既打败了自己的仇敌魔鬼，就没有仇敌能阻挡我们，一切的拦阻都要成为反面的力量；并且救赎的工作不是我们能作，乃是神用祂儿子的血拯救人出离死亡。神用我们不过要藉我们作祂的出口。我们不过是放宝贝的瓦器。我们衹会顺服在神的手中，就看见工作的果效，就象摩西作了很大的工作！神叫他怎样作，他就怎样作；神叫他怎样说，他就怎样说；自己一点不计画、打算。

　　「耶和华对他说：谁造人的口呢？谁使人的口哑、耳聋、目明、眼瞎呢？岂不是我耶和华么？现在去罢，我必赐你口才，指教你所当说的话。」（出四11至12）

只是不要走得很远……（出8：28）出埃及记 8:28 出埃及记 8

这是大暴君法老唇上所说的最狡猾的话。若是为奴的以色列人必须出离埃及的话，那末他叫他们不要走得很远；不太远，便逃不出他的军兵的恐吓和他的探子的监视。世人也是这样，不喜欢不妥协者的不妥协，或是分裂者的分裂，而要我们宽大马虎，并且要我们处事时勿过于严格。与世界同钉死、与基督同埋葬的经验，属世的人常当作是可笑的事，因此常忽略甚至轻视那使他们与世分别的礼仪。世人常劝人妥协，常提到“中庸之道”。根据这一种处世的方针，认为清洁是很需要的，但我们也不必太认真；真道当然是人所该遵从的，但对于错谬也不要过于攻讦。世俗人说：“是的，我们应当在一切事上都属灵，但是间或参加一次寻乐的聚会、舞会，或是在圣诞节时到戏院中去一次也是没有关系的。若是一件事情正在盛行，人人都那末作，我来反对有什么用处呢？”有很多嘴上的信徒听了这种狡猾的劝告，便永远沉沦了。若我们要完全跟从主，就当立即到旷野中，把自己分别出来，把埃及和世俗留在背后。我们必须离开它的劝言、它的欢乐和它的宗教，并要远远地就到主所招呼他所分别为圣的人所去的地方。城中失火，你的房子难免殃及；瘟疫流行，一个人很有被传染的可能。离毒蛇越远越好，距世俗的同化越远也越好。 愿一切真实相信的人都能听到号筒的声音：“你们务要从他们中间出来，与他们分别。”

经文: 各人蒙召的时候是什么身份，仍要守住这身份。（哥林多前书七：20）哥林多前书 7

有人愚蠢地以为，为主而活的唯一方法，是成为牧师或是宣教士。倘若这想法是正确的，那么许多人将失去许多颂赞至高者的机会了。亲爱的，重要的不是工作的本身，乃是作工时迫切的心。不是地位，乃是恩典使我们能荣耀上帝。上帝最得荣耀的场所，是敬畏上帝的工人在工厂中操作机器时，唱出救主的大爱。祂在此所得的荣耀，远超过许多正规宗教性，却执行出来不够水准之任务的讲台。药房中的职员赞美上帝，或与祂的同事谈论耶稣的时候，祂的名所得荣耀，其程度不亚于受人欢迎的布道家，到各地热烈广传福音时所得的荣耀。在我们的正当职业中，通过我们的服事，上帝被荣耀了。毋需辞去你的职业中，放弃责任，却要小心的尊重你的事业。不要忽视你的呼召，每种合法的商业都可以藉福音成为圣洁。翻开圣经，你将发现最低下的劳动，与信心的伟大事业相连。因此，不要不满足于你的呼召。无论上帝让你处在什么地位，就要守住它，除非你十分肯定上帝呼召你去从事其他工作。但愿你能先关心，在岗位上用最大的努力去荣耀上帝。祂若需要你到别处去，祂也会指示你。今晚，将困扰你的野心置于一旁，拥抱平安的满足吧！

Evening, June 27

Scripture: “Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.”(1 Corinthians 7:20)

Some persons have the foolish notion that the only way in which they can live for God is by becoming ministers, missionaries, or Bible women. Alas! how many would be shut out from any opportunity of magnifying the Most High if this were the case. Beloved, it is not office, it is earnestness; it is not position, it is grace which will enable us to glorify God. God is most surely glorified in that cobbler's stall, where the godly worker, as he plies the awl, sings of the Saviour's love, aye, glorified far more than in many a prebendal stall where official religiousness performs its scanty duties. The name of Jesus is glorified by the poor unlearned carter as he drives his horse, and blesses his God, or speaks to his fellow labourer by the roadside, as much as by the popular divine who, throughout the country, like Boanerges, is thundering out the gospel. God is glorified by our serving him in our proper vocations. Take care, dear reader, that you do not forsake the path of duty by leaving your occupation, and take care you do not dishonour your profession while in it. Think little of yourselves, but do not think too little of your callings. Every lawful trade may be sanctified by the gospel to noblest ends. Turn to the Bible, and you will find the most menial forms of labour connected either with most daring deeds of faith, or with persons whose lives have been illustrious for holiness. Therefore be not discontented with your calling. Whatever God has made your position, or your work, abide in that, unless you are quite sure that he calls you to something else. Let your first care be to glorify God to the utmost of your power where you are. Fill your present sphere to his praise, and if he needs you in another he will show it you. This evening lay aside vexatious ambition, and embrace peaceful content.

《竭诚为主》6月27日 全能的拯救

我与你同在，要拯救你。（耶一8）耶利米书 1:8 耶利米书 1

神应允耶利米要亲自拯救他－－“要以自己的命为掠物。”这是神对他儿女的应许。神不论差我们到那里，都必保护我们。私人财物是无足轻重的，对这些东西我们要看得开，否则，就会有震惊、伤心和痛苦。这就是在全能者的荫下得拯救。

登山宝训中说，我们若奉主耶稣的差遣，就无暇为自己争取什么。耶稣的意思其实是说：“不必理会人家是否对你公平。”追求公平，表示人偏离了对主的忠诚。不要指望在这世界中找到公平，但要不断的施行公平。我们若求公平，就会抱怨，沉溺在自怜不满的光景中－－“我为何受这样的待遇？”我们只要专心爱主，就不用理会任何遭遇：公平也好，不公平也好。

耶稣说：人若恒久遵行他的话，他必保护他；人若要自己保护自己，就在他的拯救里无份了。有些敬虔热心的人，在这事上却与不信者无异；他们不信任神，高举理智，只把神的名挂上去吧。的确，我们往往倚靠自己的聪明，没有一心仰赖神。

祈祷◆噢，主啊！我认识你的恩福并赞美你，作为你仆人的我所寻求的，正是那难以描述的感动和动力－－我不知道自己要寻求的是什么，但你却知道。我何等渴慕你！

June 27 The Overshadowing Personal Deliverance

“I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord.” Jeremiah 1:8

God promised Jeremiah that He would deliver him personally – “Thy life will I give unto thee for a prey.” That is all God promises His children. Wherever God sends us, He will guard our lives. Our personal property and possessions are a matter of indifference, we have to sit loosely to all those things; if we do not, there will be panic and heartbreak and distress. That is the inwardness of the overshadowing of personal deliverance.

The Sermon on the Mount indicates that when we are on Jesus Christ's errands, there is no time to stand up for ourselves. Jesus says, in effect, Do not be bothered with whether you are being justly dealt with or not. To look for justice is a sign of deflection from devotion to Him. Never look for justice in this world, but never cease to give it. If we look for justice, we will begin to grouse and to indulge in the discontent of self-pity – Why should I be treated like this? If we are devoted to Jesus Christ we have nothing to do with what we meet, whether it is just or unjust. Jesus says – Go steadily on with what I have told you to do and I will guard your life. If you try to guard it yourself, you remove yourself from My deliverance. The most devout among us become atheistic in this connection; we do not believe God, we enthrone common sense and tack the name of God on to it. We do lean to our own understanding, instead of trusting God with all our hearts.

称颂主名

经文:「义人必要称赞祢的名，正直人必住在祢面前。」（诗篇140︰13）诗篇 140

愿我的心光明磊落，这样我就可以一直称颂主的名！祂善待那些行事正直的人，因此，我愿意成为他们中的一员，在神面前，时时充满感恩的心。或许，有一阵子，他们的正直有些动摇，他们的为人受到考验，但他们必要称颂神，因为他们不向罪恶屈服，不做随风倒的墙头草。最终，正直的人必要称颂神，因为祂引导他们走正路。愿我是他们当中的一位！

经文的第二句“正直人必住在祢面前”。这是何等宝贵的应许！在义人的会中，恶人必站立不住，耶和华却要以笑脸对义人，以恩宠待他们。主啊，我羡慕这样的恩典，这样宝贵的特权，这种在地若天的感觉。主啊，保守我在各样的事上都正直，好使我每天都住在祢面前，我也要永远感谢、称颂祢的名。阿们。

THANK HIM; DWELL ACCEPTABLY

Scripture: "Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto Thy Name: the upright shall dwell in Thy presence"(Psalm 140:13).

Oh, that my heart may be upright, that I may always be able to bless the name of the LORD! He is so good to those that be good, that I would fain be among them and feel myself full of thankfulness every day. Perhaps, for a moment, the righteous are staggered when their integrity results in severe trial; but assuredly the day shall come when they shall bless their God that they did not yield to evil suggestions and adopt a shifty policy. In the long run true men will thank the God of the right for leading them by a right way. Oh, that I may be among them!

What a promise is implied in this second clause, "The upright shall dwell in thy presence!" They shall stand accepted where others appear only to be condemned. They shall be the courtiers of the great King, indulged with audience whensoever they desire it. They shall be favored ones upon whom Jehovah smiles and with whom He graciously communes. LORD, I covet this high honor, this precious privilege. It will be heaven on earth to me to enjoy it. Make me in all things upright, that I may today and tomorrow and every day stand in Thy heavenly presence. Then will I give thanks unto Thy name evermore. Amen.

神打发摩西去领以色列人出埃及地，摩西不肯去，他还对神说：「他们必不信我，也不听我的话。」（出四1）

　　其实是摩西自己不信神、不听神的话，他把自己的不信、不听推到以色列身上。摩西不信，不听神的话，是在神和他说话之后；他说以色列人不信、不听他的话，是在他见以色列人之先；摩西是以己之心度人之心。以色列人真不信，不听摩西的话吗？不！后来摩西顺从了神去见以色列人的时候，亚伦将摩西的话述说了一遍，又在百姓眼前行了神给他的神迹，「百姓就信了；以色列人听见耶和华眷顾他们，鉴察他们的困苦，就低头下拜。」（出四31）

　　有许多困难实际上是没有的，是我们自己想象出来的，有时我以为人对我不好，其实人并没有对我不好；有时我以为人不信任我，其实人并没有不信任我；多少我以为有的事，其实没有，是我自己想出来的。一切的怀疑都是因为自己先怀疑了神；我们若先相信神的话，就能凡事相信，没有怀疑。我们不信任人，不信任事情会顺利，都是因为我们自己先不信神，就象摩西自己先不信神、不听神的话；还怀疑以色列人不信他、不听他的话。如果我们里面向著神的关系正确了，外面的一切就都改变了。

　　「衹要凭著信心求，一点不疑惑；因为那疑惑的人，就象海中的波浪，被风吹动翻腾。这样的人，不要想从主那里得甚么；心怀二意的人，在他一切所行的路上，都没有定见。」（雅一6至8）

《荒漠甘泉》6月27日

　　“以色列的能力，是神所赐的。”(诗68篇28节)

　　神给我们的力量原是丰丰富富的，总叫我们无论在工作上，生活上，都有够用的能力和决心去应付。以弗所书三章十六节说：“藉着他的灵，叫你们心里的力量刚强起来。”所以我们看见：我们的力量后面，乃是圣灵；我们的力量是从来不会止息的，因为我们后面的储藏是取不竭，用不尽的。

　　“你的日子如何，你的力量也必如何。”(申33章25节)　

　   “耶和华是我的力量”---前进的力量。他给我力量践踏死亡的平地，行走永不转弯的长巷，忍受长期苦闷的单调生活。

　　“耶和华是我的力量”---向上的力量。他是我攀登的力量。有了他，我攀登的时候，一点惧怕也没有。

　　“耶和华是我的力量”---往下的力量。当我们离开流风习习的山顶，开始下到沉闷酷热的地区去的时候，我们的心最容易沮丧。所以当我们往下走的时候，我们更需要神的力量。

　　“耶和华是我的力量”---静止的力量。不要想静止是一件容易的事！当我们不得不安静的时候，常会对人说：“让我做点事，多好呢！”这种时候，我们就需要神给我们静止的力量。

六月二十八日

仰望……耶稣。（来12：2）希伯来书 12:2 希伯来书 12

圣灵的工作是把我们的眼从自己转向耶稣；撒但的工作却正相反，因为他时时要我们看到自己，忽略基督。它诱惑人说：“你的罪太大了，是不会蒙赦的。你没有信心，你的悔改并不彻底，你不能信到底，你没有神众儿女的快乐，你动摇不定并抓不住耶稣。”这一切都是光想到自己，我们若往里看是不会有安慰和安全的。但圣灵却使我们的眼完全不看自己，他使我们知道自己一无所有，但“基督是一切的一切”。因此，要知道，抓住基督并不能救你，救你的乃是基督；在基督里有快乐并不能救你，救你的是基督；甚至于信基督也不能救你——当然这是必需的——救你的乃是基督的宝血和功劳。因此，不要仰仗你的手能抓住基督，而要仰望基督；不要仰仗自己的盼望，乃要仰望盼望的来源耶稣；不要仰仗你的信心，乃要仰望那为你的信心创始成终的耶稣。仰仗我们自己的祷告、行为或感觉是永也不会得到快乐的；赐你灵魂安息的是耶稣，并非我们自己。若我们胜过撒但与神和好，就必须要“仰望耶稣”。你的眼要单单仰望他，你的心要常想到他的钉死、他的受苦、他的功劳、他的荣耀、他的代求；早晨醒来要仰望他，夜晚睡下要仰望他。不要叫盼望或惧怕隔在你和耶稣之间，要紧紧跟随他，他必不使你失望。 “我若从地上被举起来，就要吸引万人来归我。”

经文: 但亚伦的杖吞了他的杖。（出埃及记七：12）出埃及记 7:12 出埃及记 7

这事件表示上帝的工作必定胜过所有的反对。每当属上帝的原则进入人心中时，魔鬼就会伪装并制造出一大群反对者。但是上帝的工作将吞下所有敌人。上帝的恩典若占有一个人，世上所有的魔术师会丢下他们的魔仗。即使每棍杖皆如蛇般狡猾恶毒，亚伦的仗也会吞下他们。十字架甘甜之吸引力会赢得人心。只为这个曚骗人的世界而活的人，现在可以稍稍了解更高的领堿，并驾翼飞升入属天的高峰了！我们的信心会面对许多仇敌。魔要将我们老旧的罪掷在我们的脚前，它们会变成蛇；但是耶稣的十字架能将他们全部毁灭。接着，魔鬼以属世的试验、试探、和不信发动另外一群蛇；但是在耶稣里的信心使它无法匹对，胜过了它们全部。在对上帝的忠心事奉中，也闪耀着同样的原则。对耶稣的热爱，克服了困难，牺牲变为喜乐，苦难变为荣耀。但是有许多人有宗教的外表而无信仰的实质。他们的宗教不会助他们通过这些试验。以这一点来检查你自己。亚伦的杖证明了它有上帝所赐的能力。你的生命是否如此？基督若与你有关连，祂必定是你的全部。哦，你不能安息，直至对耶稣的爱和信成为操纵你心灵的热情。

Evening, June 28

Scripture: “But Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.”(Exodus 7:12)

This incident is an instructive emblem of the sure victory of the divine handiwork over all opposition. Whenever a divine principle is cast into the heart, though the devil may fashion a counterfeit, and produce swarms of opponents, as sure as ever God is in the work, it will swallow up all its foes. If God's grace takes possession of a man, the world's magicians may throw down all their rods; and every rod may be as cunning and poisonous as a serpent, but Aaron's rod will swallow up their rods. The sweet attractions of the cross will woo and win the man's heart, and he who lived only for this deceitful earth will now have an eye for the upper spheres, and a wing to mount into celestial heights. When grace has won the day the worldling seeks the world to come. The same fact is to be observed in the life of the believer. What multitudes of foes has our faith had to meet! Our old sins－the devil threw them down before us, and they turned to serpents. What hosts of them! Ah, but the cross of Jesus destroys them all. Faith in Christ makes short work of all our sins. Then the devil has launched forth another host of serpents in the form of worldly trials, temptations, unbelief; but faith in Jesus is more than a match for them, and overcomes them all. The same absorbing principle shines in the faithful service of God! With an enthusiastic love for Jesus difficulties are surmounted, sacrifices become pleasures, sufferings are honours. But if religion is thus a consuming passion in the heart, then it follows that there are many persons who profess religion but have it not; for what they have will not bear this test. Examine yourself, my reader, on this point. Aaron's rod proved its heaven-given power. Is your religion doing so? If Christ be anything he must be everything. O rest not till love and faith in Jesus be the master passions of your soul!

《竭诚为主》6月28日 被神得着

或者可以得着基督耶稣所以得着我的。（腓三12）腓立比书 3:12 腓立比书 3

切勿自告奋勇作主的工人；可是一旦被神呼召，你若偏左又偏右，就有祸了。我们原不是选择为神工作，所以去作工，乃是因为神得着了我们。绝不该这样想：“噢，我不适合做这个。”你所要传的道，是由神决定的，不是凭你个人天然的喜好决定。你的心灵要紧紧贴近神，要记住你蒙召不单是作见证，更要传福音。每个信徒都要作见证，但传道的呼召，则必须有神的手狠狠地抓住。你的生命是单为这一件事被神抓住吗？我们有多少人是这样？

千万不可把神的话打折扣，要按照他最严肃的真理去传。对神的话要忠心；但对人的关系上，则记住你是谁－－不是天上制造的特种人，而只是一个蒙恩的罪人。“我不是以为自己已经得着了。我只有一件事……”

祈祷◆主啊，求你按照你容许的方式和程度，让我能看见你、感受你、相信你和完全认识你。除你以外，我还等候谁呢？

June 28 Apprehended By God

“If that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended.” Philippians 3:12

Never choose to be a worker; but when once God has put His call on you, woe be to you if you turn to the right hand or to the left. We are not here to work for God because we have chosen to do so, but because God has apprehended us. There is never any thought of – “Oh, well, I am not fitted for this.” What you are to preach is determined by God, not by your own natural inclinations. Keep your soul steadfastly related to God, and remember that you are called not to bear testimony only, but to preach the gospel. Every Christian must testify, but when it comes to the call to preach, there must be the agonizing grip of God's hand on you, your life is in the grip of God for that one thing. How many of us are held like that?

Never water down the word of God, preach it in its undiluted sternness; there must be unflinching loyalty to the word of God; but when you come to personal dealing with your fellow men, remember who you are – not a special being made up in heaven, but a sinner saved by grace.

“I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do . . .”

上帝的眼光

经文: “耶和华观看基甸，说：你靠着你这能力去从米甸人手里拯救以色列人，不是我差遣你去的吗？”（士师记六∶14）士师记 6:14 士师记 6

上帝关爱基甸的眼神，是如此的洞察人心，赋予能力！上帝知道基甸胆怯软弱，就赐与勇气力量。若你仰望上帝，盼望祂的拯救，祂的眼神岂不给你无限的鼓舞与能力？今天就来仰望上帝吧，将我们生活的重担，内心的冲突，卸在祂脚前。

上帝对基甸说∶“去吧。”他就毫不犹疑地去，他本可以说∶“什么？我如此软弱如何去？”但上帝以祂的权威说∶“靠着这能力，你去！”基甸果然从上帝的眼神中获得力量，去击杀米甸人，拯救以色列人。上帝或许要藉我做更大的事，超过我梦想的。若祂选上我，祂会使我刚强，让我以信心操练祂所赐给我的能力。祂从未闲置祂所赐的能力。反之，祂说∶“去！”因为祂使我刚强。

上帝对基甸所发的问题，“不是我差遣你去的吗？”如今上帝不也对我们说吗？是的，上帝已差遣我，我要照祂的吩咐，勇往直前，靠着上帝赐的力量，我必得胜。

六月二十八日

先知撒迦利亚看见了一个纯金的灯台，顶上有灯盏，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏有七个管子。天使对撒迦利亚说：「这是耶和华指示所罗巴伯的；万军之耶和华说：不是倚靠势力，不是倚靠才能，乃是依靠我的灵。」（亚四1至6）

　　灯盏能发光，完全倚靠输油。在这灯盏上有七个管子，这是说要依靠神完全的灵。衹要有人愿意成为发光的灯盏，神所供给的灵是丰满的，象七个管子的输送，大大充满他。

　　作世界上的事是依靠势力，有了势力就能成事，也是依靠才能，有才能的人就能成事；但在神家的工作，不是靠势力，也不是靠才能，乃是依靠神的灵；那些有势力、有才能的，不但不成全神的工作，反而败坏了神的工作，因为神的工作是属灵的，势力和才能是属血气的；血气不能成就灵工。

　　在神的家中就怕出能干人，这能干人给神家中带来许多麻烦，因为他们用了人的才能，用了血气的势力。所以一个在神家中合用的器皿要放弃自己的才能和智慧，与主取得紧密的联合：主说他才说，主作他才作，主不指示，他就安静等候。将自己完全奉献给主，顺从圣灵的支配和引导。

　　「你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面，枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子；你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。我是葡萄树，你们是枝子；常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子；因为离了我，你们就不能作甚么。」（约十五4至5）这是主亲口对门徒说的。

《荒漠甘泉》6月28日

　　“见到天上有门开了。”(启4章1节)

　　你一定记得约翰为神的道，并为耶稣做见证，曾囚在那名叫拔摩的海岛上---一个凄凉，冷落，荒野的监狱里。离开了以弗所的亲人；断绝了教会中的交通；所接触的，尽是些不相投的俘虏。在这种境遇之下，神给他这样大的异象。在他无路可走的时候，神给他开了天上的门。

　　我们也记得雅各曾离开了父家，躺卧在一个荒寂的旷野里，梦见一个梯子立在地上，梯子的一头顶着天，耶和华站在梯子以上。

　　不只这两个人，还有许多信徒，从世界的眼光看来，他们的境遇未必能使他们得到这种启示；可是事实上，他们都曾看见天上有门为他们开了。

　　许多囚犯俘虏，许多被痛苦的铁链束缚在病榻上的长期受苦者，许多孤单飘泊的旅客，许多被家务缠累不能来教会的妇女们，都曾看见过天上的门为他们开了。

　　但是有条件的啊！我们要看见天上的门打开，必须知道怎样生活在灵里；必须有一颗清洁顺服的心；必须象保罗一样将万事当作有损的，以认识我们的主基督耶稣为至宝。等到我们把神当作一切的一切的时候，等到我们一举一动都蒙他喜悦的时候，天上的门自然也会为我们打开了。

我们不要以为灵魂睡了以后是没有知觉的。基督对每一位临终的圣徒说：“今日你要同我在乐园里了。”他们“在耶稣里睡了”，但他们的灵魂却在神的宝座之前，在他的殿中时时赞美他，向那用宝血洗除他们罪的主唱哈利路亚。身体孤零零地睡在大地的床中，上面盖着青草的毯子，这是一种什么睡呢？这种睡的意思与“安息”有关，这是神的灵所启示我们的思想。白天操劳，晚间睡眠便得安息。睡把灵魂的门关紧，使外来的一切烦扰暂时止步，好叫里面的生命进到夏日休憩的乐园。疲劳的信徒安静地入睡，正像困倦的孩子在母亲的怀中沉睡一样。在主里死了的人有福了，他们息了他们的劳苦，他们工作的果效也随着他们；他们必然安眠，直到神叫他们起来得赏赐的时候。在那承受荣耀的人睡了之后，有天使看守，有永远的奥秘掩蔽，直到完全被救赎的时候来到。他们醒来是一种什么情形呢？他们被安放在安眠之处已经精疲力倦，但当他们起来的时候却不是这样了；他们满脸绉纹、枯槁憔悴地进入安息，但当他们醒来的时候却满了荣美；丑陋的种子从土里出来的时候，换了好看的样子，成了一棵美丽的花。坟墓的寒冬过去，救赎的春天、荣耀的夏天就接踵而至。在主里死了的人有福了，因为那是藉着神的能力，脱去我们工作的服装，给我们穿上永不朽坏的婚服。那“在耶稣里睡了的人”有福了。

经文: 唯有一件事，就是巴比伦王差遣使者来见希西家，访问国中所现的奇事。这件事上帝离开他，要试验他，好知道他内心如何。（历代志下三十二：31）历代志下 32

希西家的灵命增长，但因上帝对他的恩宠，他开始骄傲起来，甚至到一地步，就是使自义潜入了他的心中。这解释了他在对付巴比伦人时为何会遭遇困难。上帝的恩典若离开最好的基督徒，他心中的罪就足以使他成为最坏的人。若任由你按己意行，你对基督火热的心会像老底嘉的教会一样冷却下来，变成让主讨厌的不冷不热。你即使有强烈的信心，也会因错误的教条变为白如大痲疯。你现在虽杰出诚笃地行在主前，也会因对罪之爱好而如醉汉蹒跚而行。我们像月亮一样，光亮是借来的。当恩典照耀在我们身上时，我们就会成为明亮，但一旦公义的太阳收回光线，我们就全然黑暗。主啊，请不要收回祢在我心中的恩典！祢说过：“我耶和华是守葡萄园的，我必时刻浇灌、昼夜看守，免得有人损害。”（赛二十七：3）以赛亚书 27:3 以赛亚书 27 主啊，看守我。在谷底，求祢保守，使我们不因祢要人谦卑而呢喃自怨。在山巅，求祢保守，使我们不致满了骄傲。当我们的热情洋溢，年青时，保守我们。当我们年迈，对自己的智慧满了自负时，保守我们；其实比起年青人、天真的人，我们是更大的傻瓜。或生或死、或工作或受苦受难、或争战或安息，都保守我们。上帝啊，无论在何处，求祢保守，因为我们随处都需要祢！

Scripture: “Howbeit, in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.”(2 Chronicles 32:31)

Hezekiah was growing so inwardly great, and priding himself so much upon the favour of God, that self-righteousness crept in, and through his carnal security, the grace of God was for a time, in its more active operations, withdrawn. Here is quite enough to account with the Babylonians; for if the grace of God should leave the best Christian, there is enough of sin in his heart to make him the worst of transgressors. If left to yourselves, you who are warmest for Christ would cool down like Laodicea into sickening lukewarmness: you who are sound in the faith would be white with the leprosy of false doctrine; you who now walk before the Lord in excellency and integrity would reel to and fro, and stagger with a drunkenness of evil passion. Like the moon, we borrow our light; bright as we are when grace shines on us, we are darkness itself when the Sun of Righteousness withdraws himself. Therefore let us cry to God never to leave us. “Lord, take not thy Holy Spirit from us! Withdraw not from us thine indwelling grace! Hast thou not said, ‘I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day’? Lord, keep us everywhere. Keep us when in the valley, that we murmur not against thy humbling hand; keep us when on the mountain, that we wax not giddy through being lifted up; keep us in youth, when our passions are strong; keep us in old age, when becoming conceited of our wisdom, we may therefore prove greater fools than the young and giddy; keep us when we come to die, lest, at the very last, we should deny thee! 《竭诚为主》6月29日 操练的方向

若是右手叫你跌倒，就砍下来丢掉。宁可失去百体中的一体，不叫全身下入地狱。（太五30）马太福音 5:30 马太福音 5

耶稣并没有叫每个人把右手砍掉，他只是说：“若你右手阻碍你与我同行，就把它砍下来。”有许多事本来是完全合情合理的，但你若要专心跟从神，就不能去做了。右手是你最有用的东西，但耶稣说如果它阻碍你跟从他，就把它砍掉。这种锻炼的方法，是人类空前最严厉的。

神藉着重生改变了一个人，那生命起初的特征就是残废。你有许多事不敢做了，而那些事在你眼中，在认识你的世界眼中，是等于你的右手或眼睛那样重要。不属灵的人就会说：“这件事有何不妥？你真是太古怪了！”有史以来，从没有一个圣徒开始的时候，不是从无手无足的残缺中起步的。可是，宁可被神视为美好而带着残废进入永生，胜过在人眼中看为美丽，在神却视为残废。重生初期，有许多事情是耶稣藉着残废禁止你做的；虽然别人作这些事或许完全没有问题，你却不可作。但得小心；不可以用你所受的限制去批评别人。

生命的开始是残废的，但在第四十八节中，耶稣却展开了一幅丰盛生命的图画－－“你们要完全，像你们的天父完全一样。”

祈祷◆主啊！愿你今天带领我进入你更多恩慈和奇妙的作为中。愿你那满有恩典和能力的慈手，今天覆庇我。

June 29 Direction Of Discipline

“And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.” Matthew 5:30

Jesus did not say that everyone must cut off the right hand, but – If your right hand offends you in your walk with Me, cut it off. There are many things that are perfectly legitimate, but if you are going to concentrate on God you cannot do them. Your right hand is one of the best things you have, but, says Jesus, if it hinders you in following His precepts, cut it off. This line of discipline is the sternest one that ever struck mankind.

When God alters a man by regeneration, the characteristic of the life to begin with is that it is maimed. There are a hundred and one things you dare not do, things that to you and in the eyes of the world that knows you are as your right hand and your eye, and the unspiritual person says – Whatever is wrong in that? How absurd you are! There never has been a saint yet who did not have to live a maimed life to start with. But it is better to enter into life maimed and lovely in God's sight than to be lovely in man's sight and lame in God's. In the beginning Jesus Christ by His Spirit has to check you from doing a great many things that may be perfectly right for everyone else but not right for you. See that you do not use your limitations to criticize someone else.

六月廿九日信心的支票簿 Faith's check book

祷告的邀请

经文:「你求告我，我就应允你，并将你所不知道，又大又难的事指示你。」（耶利米书33︰3）耶利米书 33

神鼓励我们祷告。外邦人告诉我们祷告就是一种迷信的操练，如果不是自己相信，否则不会有任何影响。但我们体验得更多。经验告诉我们他们的断言是多么得错谬。在这节经文中，耶和华，永生的神，清楚地答应要回答祂仆人的祷告。让我们再次求告祂的名，相信祂必垂听并回答我们的祈求。祂既创造耳朵，岂不更倾听我们的祈求？祂让父母有天生的慈爱养育孩子，岂不更眷念祂自己儿女的哭求？

神会响应祂百姓在痛苦中的呼求，祂为祂儿女准备的是眼睛未曾看过，耳朵未曾听过，心里未曾想过的。若需要的话，祂还会为他们预备新的祝福，派天使服事他们，让山海都为他们效劳。祂总是想要以恩典覆蔽我们，并让我们感受到事情从来不可能如此成就。而祂所要求我们的，只是来求告祂，别无所求。让我们现在就欣然到祂面前倾心吐意吧！

INVITATION TO PRAY

Scripture: "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not"(Jeremiah 33:3).

 God encourages us to pray. They tell us that prayer is a pious exercise which has no influence except upon the mind engaged in it. We know better. Our experience gives the lie a thousand times over to this infidel assertion. Here Jehovah, the living God, distinctly promises to answer the prayer of His servant. Let us call upon Him again and admit no doubt upon the question of His hearing us and answering us. He that made the ear, shall He not hear? He that gave parents a love to their children, will He not listen to the cries of His own sons and daughters!

      God will answer His pleading people in their anguish. He has wonders in store for them. What they have never seen, heard of, or dreamed of, He will do for them. He will invent new blessings if needful. He will ransack sea and land to feed them: He will send every angel out of heaven to succor them if their distress requires it. He will astound us with His grace and make us feel that it was never before done in this fashion. All He asks of us is that we will call upon Him. He cannot ask less of us. Let us cheerfully render Him our prayers at once.

我们常是愿意自己挑选，不以神所赐的为满足，结果就走了自己的道路，吃了许多苦，有时掉在陷坑里，有时落在网罗中，若不是神有丰盛的恩典、和拯救的能力，把我们从迷路上找回来，真是危险极了；就象第一百只羊，不肯跟著牧人走，不听牧人呼唤的声音，随著自己的心意跑到山林中，若不是慈爱的牧者亲自找寻，在危险的旷野中，岂不被野兽吞吃了？

　　我们也常象浪子拣选自己的道路，就吃了许多苦。我们若让主为我们挑选，以神的安排为满足，我们要和大卫一同唱说：「用绳量给我的地界，坐落在佳美之处；我们的产业实在美好。」（诗十六6）我们常和小孩子一样，不会分辨好歹，常挑选与自己有害的东西。有一个不满两岁的小孩子，在夏天的时候挑选了一件棉衣穿在身上；我们的祷告也常是那样好笑，不知道求些甚么，焉有父母不将好东西给儿女呢？小孩子要刀、要火岂可给他呢？所以我们当以神所量给我们的为满足，神所赐给我们的环境总是与我们有益的，若是神看我们在此地不好，神就早已把我们迁移到另一个环境中了。因为神是爱，祂永不会欺骗我们，所以衹管放胆倚靠神，不必自己挣扎，凡是顺从神自然的带领，安息在神的大能里面，就必看见神施恩的手与我们同在。

　　「不在自以为有智慧；要敬畏耶和华，远离恶事；这便医治你的肚脐，滋润你的百骨。」（箴三7至8）

《荒漠甘泉》6月29日

　　“我们在那里看见亚衲族人，就是伟人。”(民13章33节)

　　是的，他们看见了亚衲族人，但是迦勒和约书亚所看见的只是神！疑惧的说：“我们不能上去。”(31节)相信的却说：“我们立刻上去得那地罢，我们足能得胜。”(30节)　　在属灵的意义上，亚衲族人是代表艰难；无论在什么地方，我们都能够看见有亚衲族人在高视阔步。在我们的家庭里，在我们的教会里，在我们的社会生活里，在我们自己的心里都有；我们必须战胜他们，否则他们就会象以色列人所说的迦南地的亚衲族一样“吞吃”我们(32节)。

　　有信心的敢说：“他们是我们的食物；我们可以吞吃他们。吞吃了他们以后，我们会变的更强壮了。”

　　事实是如此：除非我们有战胜的信心，否则便会被他们吞吃。让我们有迦勒和约书亚的信心来专心仰望神，神必定会顾念我们一切的困难。

　　只在我们忠顺的时候，才会遇见亚衲族人。我们看见：当以色列人预备前进的时候，才有亚衲族人出现；当他们转回往旷野去的时候，就没有了。

　　神的亲爱的受苦的孩子啊，只要肯你信靠，坚持，不允许仇敌来克服你，你是不能失败的。------Tract

你所赐给我的荣耀，我已赐给他们……（约17：22）约翰福音 17:22 约翰福音 17

你看主是多么慷慨，因为他把一切都给了我们。若他仅把自己所有的十分之一赐给众天使，那种丰富已是超乎人的想像，但他是不会心满意足的，除非他把一切所有的都赐给我们。若他准我们在他丰盛的恩筵下拾取碎渣，就已经是一种惊人的大恩典了，但他并不作这种半截的事情，他乃是使我们与他同坐、同吃。若他从他的宝库中给我们一点小惠，就足够我们永远爱他了，但是并不，他乃是使他的新妇与他一样地丰富，他所有的荣耀和恩典没有不使她一同享受的。他若不使我们和他同为后嗣、同得基业，就不会满足。他把他一切的产业都倾倒给教会，将一切的东西与被赎的人公有共享。他家中每间房屋的钥匙没有一把留下不给他民的。他赐他们全权，为自己选取他所有的；他喜欢看到他们自由使用他的宝物，按他们的力量取拿。他全能的丰满没有限量地给人使用，可以像空气一样地自由吸收。基督把他恩爱之杯放在信徒的唇上，让他永远畅饮；若他能一饮而尽，那是再好没有的事，他既不能喝完，所以让他尽量地喝，因为那都是他的。天地之间没有一种爱情更密切、更真实了！“当我站在宝座前，穿上主所赐的美服；当我得见主真体，用无罪的心来爱你； 那时我必会知道，我是多么亏欠你。”

经文: 主耶和华啊，祢曾用大能和伸出来的膀臂创造天地，在祢没有难成的事。（耶利米书三十二：17）耶利米书32

当迦勤底人包围了耶路撒冷时，刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫使土地荒废了。上帝命令耶利米买下一块地，办妥契约转让的手续，并将契约封缄，此事有人见证。对一个有理智的人而言，作这一件买卖是奇怪的。常理无法解释，因为耶利米能享用这产业的机会是微乎其微。只因上帝要他如此作，这理由就已足够。他解释说：“主耶和华啊，祢能使这一小块地对我有用。祢能赶走这地的侵略者。祢能使我在这买下的产业地上，坐在葡萄树和无花果树下。因为祢创造天地，在祢没有难成的事。”这是早期圣徒们的最高权利，他们敢于去做上帝命令的事，虽然人的理智会反对，挪亚在旱地上造船，亚伯拉罕献上他的独生子，摩西看轻埃及的财富，约书亚不用武器，只吹响牛角，在七天内攻下了耶利哥城。他们皆按上帝的命令去作，违反了人类理智的指挥。因他们顺服的信心，上帝厚厚的赏赐他们。但愿我们对上帝能存着有力的、融入生命中的、英雄式的信心。让耶利米信心之根据，也成为我们信心的根据－－在创造天地之上帝的眼中是没有难成的事。

Evening, June 30

Scripture: “Ah Lord God, behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee.”(Jeremiah 32:17)

At the very time when the Chaldeans surrounded Jerusalem, and when the sword, famine and pestilence had desolated the land, Jeremiah was commanded by God to purchase a field, and have the deed of transfer legally sealed and witnessed. This was a strange purchase for a rational man to make. Prudence could not justify it, for it was buying with scarcely a probability that the person purchasing could ever enjoy the possession. But it was enough for Jeremiah that his God had bidden him, for well he knew that God will be justified of all his children. He reasoned thus: “Ah, Lord God! thou canst make this plot of ground of use to me; thou canst rid this land of these oppressors; thou canst make me yet sit under my vine and my fig-tree in the heritage which I have bought; for thou didst make the heavens and the earth, and there is nothing too hard for thee.” This gave a majesty to the early saints, that they dared to do at God's command things which carnal reason would condemn. Whether it be a Noah who is to build a ship on dry land, an Abraham who is to offer up his only son, or a Moses who is to despise the treasures of Egypt, or a Joshua who is to besiege Jericho seven days, using no weapons but the blasts of rams’ horns, they all act upon God's command, contrary to the dictates of carnal reason; and the Lord gives them a rich reward as the result of their obedient faith. Would to God we had in the religion of these modern times a more potent infusion of this heroic faith in God. If we would venture more upon the naked promise of God, we should enter a world of wonders to which as yet we are strangers. Let Jeremiah's place of confidence be ours－nothing is too hard for the God that created the heavens and the earth.

《竭诚为主》6月30日 立刻做

赶紧与他（对头）和息。（太五25）马太福音 5:25 马太福音 5

耶稣基督定下了一个原则－－知道该做的现在就去做，而且要快快的做；否则，那无法避免的历程就必发生，而你也得尝受痛苦。神的律是不更改的，人也无法逃避。耶稣的教训是针对我们本质而说的。

要仇敌尊重我的权利，是很自然的事，可是耶稣却说偿还仇敌的一切，才是最急切而有永恒价值的事。从主的角度看来，我被人欺诈与否，并不要紧；要紧的是我不欺诈人。我是否坚持争取自己的权益，还是站在主的立场，偿还我所欠的？

要快快的做，立即审判自己。不论在道德上，或属灵上，都必须立刻去做；否则那无情的历程就必开始。神一心要他的儿女清洁雪白，任何不顺服他教训的，他的灵就会不遗余力地工作。

我们若一味坚持自己无辜，就表示还有些地方不顺服。怪不得圣灵这么强烈地催逼我们要常在光明中。

“赶快与他和息。”你是否一瞬间就察觉与人的关系中有愤怒存在？快快认罪，在神面前赶快解决，与那人和好－－现在就要去做。

祈祷◆主啊，愿你成为我生命中一道生机蓬勃、宁谧安恬的广阔河流。愿你今天向我们每一个人展示更多的爱与温柔－－尤其是我，因为许多人被我直接影响。

June 30 Do It Now

“Agree with thine adversary quickly.” Matthew 5:25

Jesus Christ is laying down this principle – Do what you know you must do, now, and do it quickly; if you do not, the inevitable process will begin to work and you will have to pay to the last farthing in pain and agony and distress. God's laws are unalterable; there is no escape from them. The teaching of Jesus goes straight to the way we are made up.

To see that my adversary gives me my rights is natural; but Jesus says that it is a matter of eternal and imperative importance to me that I pay my adversary what I owe him. From our Lord’s standpoint it does not matter whether I am defrauded or not; what does matter is that I do not defraud. Am I insisting on my rights, or am I paying what I owe from Jesus Christ's standpoint?

Do the thing quickly, bring yourself to judgment now. In moral and spiritual matters, you must do it at once; if you do not, the inexorable process will begin to work. God is determined to have His child as pure and clean and white as driven snow, and as long as there is disobedience in any point of His teaching, He will prevent none of the working of His spirit. Our insistence in proving that we are right is nearly always an indication that there has been some point of disobedience. No wonder the Spirit so strongly urges to keep steadfastly in the light!

“Agree with thine adversary quickly.” Have you suddenly turned a corner in any relationship and found that you had anger in your heart? Confess it quickly, quickly put it right before God, be reconciled to that one – do it now.

回顾与展望

经文:「然而我要追念在你幼年时与你所立的约，也要与你立定永约。」（以西结书16︰60）以西结书 16

纵然我们有罪，主仍然不背乎自己的诺言，以永远的爱爱我们。神回想过往那段快乐的时光，祂是怎样与我们立约，而我们又是怎样将心归向祂！主并没有因我们偏行己路而责怪我们不忠诚。人虽失信，但神永不失信，无论如何在祂没有转动的影儿，祂总是首尾一贯。从祂追念与我们在幼年的爱情，就看到祂是何等慈爱。 

祂也向前看，祂定意不让此约失效。即使我们不能守约，祂却要持守到底。祂神圣地宣告︰“我要与你立定永约。”祂绝不食言失信，羔羊的血是这约的印记，为了签署这项永约，祂不惜牺牲独生爱子的生命；也因此，祂坚守约定。“祂是可信的，因为祂不能背乎自己”。喔，神的名是配得称颂的，因祂的信实直到万代，祂的慈爱直到永远。

主啊，求祢将这段话，铭刻在我心里，帮助我昼夜思想它。

BACK, THEN FORWARD

Scripture: "Nevertheless I will remember My Covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an Everlasting Covenant"(Ezekiel 16:60).

Notwithstanding our sins, the LORD is still faithful in His love to us. He looks back. See how He remembers those early days of ours when He took us into covenant with Himself, and we gave ourselves over to Him. Happy days those! The LORD does not twit us with them and charge us with being insincere. No, He looks rather to His covenant with us than to our covenant with Him. There was no hypocrisy in that sacred compact, on His part, at any rate. How gracious is the LORD thus to look back in love!

     He looks forward also. He is resolved that the covenant shall not fail. If I do not stand to it, He does. He solemnly declares, "I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant." He has no mind to draw back from His promises. Blessed be His name. He sees the sacred seal, "the blood of the everlasting covenant," and He remembers our Surety, in whom He ratified that covenant, even His own dear Son; and therefore He rests in His covenant engagements. "He abideth faithful; he cannot deny himself."

     O LORD, lay this precious word upon my heart and help me to feed upon it all this day!

患难本来是仇敌的武器，是要害我们的，但我们若顺从神的旨意把它接过来，就成了我们的兵器，可以抵御更大的患难。信徒得胜患难，不是要和患难奋斗，这是世人的办法；我们乃是在患难中操练自己，使我们更老练、更忍耐、更爱主、更轻看世界，使我们能应付更大的患难，可以成就更大的事。

　　我们受患难，直到患难在我们身上不起作用，失掉了它的威力，不再使我们受痛苦；我们就很超然地行在一切之上，这样苦难不但不能害我们，反而成了我们的益处。不信神的人要得著这样的成功是很难的，但我们这信神又有神生命的人，神的圣灵又住在我们心中，我们进到这种地步并不为难；因为我们以基督为至宝，已经因祂而看万事如粪土。所以世界上的事，是好是坏都不足以介意，因为我们另有所爱、另有一个心志、另有一个盼望、另有一个家、另有一个国。圣灵是我心中的力量引领我们，患难是外面的力量推动我们，我们在这两个力量之中，你想我们的前进是何等的迅速？世界上的事，在人看为好的，那些并不是我们的利益，惟有人看为不好的，更是与我们有益的。信徒在世福中的时候即便象约伯一样完全正直、敬畏神、远离恶事，对神的认识总是肤浅的，但约伯经过患难以后，就在神面前深深长进。约伯在苦难最沉痛的时候，他说出何等有力量的言语：「惟愿我的言语，现在写上，都记录在书上；用铁笔镌刻，用铅灌在磐石上，直存到永远。我知道我的救赎主活著，末了必站立在地上；我这皮肉灭绝之后，我必在肉体之外得见神。我自己要见祂，亲眼要看祂，并不象外人。」（伯十九23至27）

《荒漠甘泉》6月30日

　　“我在静默中，听见有声音。”(伯4章16节)

　　二十年前，一位朋友送了我一本书，这本书的名字叫作《平安》(True Peace)。其中的信息是说：神在我里面最深处等待着与我谈话，只要我愿意安静下来，就可以听见他的声音。

　　我想这是一件容易的事，所以我就开始去安静起来。我以开始，便有一阵喧噪的声浪送进我的耳鼓来，有的是从外面来的，有的是从里面来的，成千的喊声吵得我除了这些闹声以外听不见一点别的声音。

　　这些闹声里面有的是我自己的声音，我自己的问句，甚至有我的祷告夹在里面；有的是撒旦的控告和世界的喧嚷。

　　各方面似乎都有声音拉我，推我，大声招呼我，真叫我说不出的不平安。似乎我不能不去听他们，不能不去回答他们。但是神对我说：“要安静，要知道我是神。。”(诗46章10节，直译)不一会，我的思潮又转到了明天------明天的职务，明天的眭虑上去；神又对我说：“要安静。”

　　我竭力将我的耳朵塞住，不让它去听到任何声音；不久，别的声音一概停止了，我就觉得在我里面最深处，有一个微小的声音开始发声了------啊！这声音里面充满了温柔，能力和安慰；这声音竟成了一切智慧和知识的泉源。
