Thank you for permission from the daughter of Reverend Dr. Deutsch, Katharina Deutsch, to allow us to put the announcement of the return of Reverend Dr. Deutsch into God’s arms and some of the pictures I (Debbie) took on this website as a loving memory of our respectable beloved Reverend Dr. Deutsch, as a living testimony to his beautiful legacies and footprints, his abundant life in living hope and his amazing grace, especially on this special Easter. -- Debbie

1847年Basel Mission派黎力基（Rudolph Lechler）和
韓山明（Theodore Hamberg）兩牧師來華

Deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Reverend Dr. Deutsch. Old dad said: "now, all my old friends gone... Basel Mission Ministry started with two early missionaries Rudolph Lechler (黎力基) and Theodore Hamberg (韓山明), and ended with Reverend Dr. Deutsch."

Cherish the Salvation of them, both, served and sent by Basel Mission, Richard Robert Deutsch and Ernst Traugott Itten, the Lord took them Home, 6 months apart only.

Dear Katharina, Thank You for your email. My heart and prayers are with you and your family now. I love your family, your parents, and have been truly blessed, to visit Dr. Deutsch, Elizabeth, a few times in the past, when I went to Switzerland, and also, meeting Christian and Barbel In Rhein Fall. They are my dear and beloved brother , sister, family in Christ. The last time was in August, 2018, right before your parents moving to England. I think of them often. I do miss them. Dr. Deutsch had been our wonderful pastor in Shamshuipo Tsung Tsin Church in the 1970’s, during the most difficult time. He was also my professor when I took his course in Chinese University. He was also a good friend of my father. I have met you when you a child, and enjoyed once at Christmas, when your family had musical offering in our church. You played the flute so well, I still remember vividly till now. Our paths have not crossed since then, when your family left Hong Kong. But I remember You. Please convey my Love to your family, especially to your mother Elizabeth. I love her, will always keep her in my heart, my prayers. You take very good care, especially at this time, Love and Peace Shalom! Debbie+ Family.
