What reason for the guards to stay still after the upper time limit of the resurrection
(Matt 27:62-66, 28:4, 28:11-15)
The Guard at the Tomb
62 The next day, the one after Preparation Day, the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate.
63 “Sir,” they said, “we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’
64 So give the order for the tomb to be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples may come and steal the body and tell the people that he has been raised from the dead. This last deception will be worse than the first.”
65 “Take a guard,” Pilate answered. “Go, make the tomb as secure as you know how.”
66 So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.
4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The Guards’ Report
11 While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.
12 When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money,
13 telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
14 If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”
15 So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.

First resurrection appearances At q1 (thick black) HE had already risen.
Early on the fifteenth day of 1st Month (q3 period) they came to Pilate and begged him to seal the stone and to
command the watchmen to keep watching until the third day; Pilate then sent the watchmen to stay there from 15th day of q3 till 18th day of q2 totally three days. And thererfore they had met the scene of“there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it“ and were scared to
death „And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men“ They testified that tomb was open by angels,
not caused by a breaking in.
Even though the watchmen continually kept alert watching and past the bottom line of the timing of the Resurrection of the
Lord Jesus Christ, but they could not aware of, could not witness, could not catch, how Jesus was in a split second risen
(even the modern reconnaissance equipment can not do that as well ). And that is really the miracle of the Resurrection.
The effect of the miracle of the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ looks most magnificent, but the process is
quite profound and unmeasurable, it is even invisible and shadowless.
