"That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures" This core gospel truth is indisputable fact, but to calculate the "three days and three nights"  about "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." (Matthew 12:40), It really requires genuine talent and it is not that simple. In order to make it easy for us to comprehend how the Bible calculates "For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." When you carefully read the conclusion they cited from the Bible. You must believe that Jesus, the Savior,  "was buried on Wednesday and risen on Saturday". Instead of what we often assume that "He was buried on Fridays and resurrected on Sundays" as the holidays we often follow and such a calculation is completely wrong!

The first verse 【Matt12:38-40】told us that Jesus clearly prophesized that He would be buried for three days and three nights. Same as prophet Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights in old testament. And He stated that was the only sign for this wicked and adulterous generation. But as the theory that we have been taught; Jesus was crucified on Friday, and rose on Sunday morning. Then He was not buried long enough as what He had said before. It was only two nights and a day; Friday night, Saturday and Saturday night. It was only 50% of the time length of what He had said. Was Jesus prophecy not precise? Or disciples recorded Jesus burial and risen events inaccurately?
Pastor Ming-Dao Wang said: It was only two nights and a day, only 50% of the time length. Where are then other one night and two days? This is a very interesting and really intriguing question?

This is to proclaim what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 15:3-8 of the Bible. The Lord Jesus died for our sins, was buried, but was resurrected three days later. This is the core truth of the Gospel: 「For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also」。

He Lives (Forever And Ever)

It is clearly stated in the New Testament of Bible. After the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from the tomb,HE appeared in the world for forty days and appeared to the disciples at least ten times : "After HIS suffering, HE presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that HE wasalive. HE appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God." (Acts 1:3). Not only is HE alive, but HE lives forever and ever: "I am the Living One;I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever." (Revelation. 1:18). God has promised that HIS children would be raised after their death. But can HE do it? If HE can, then how do weknow HE can? Because the Bible clearly states: "Regarding HIS Son, who as to HIS earthly life was a descendant of David, and who through the Spirit of holiness was appointed the Son of God inpower by HIS resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 1:3,4 ) Because HE has raised Jesus from the dead with power, it became the “Blessed Assurance" that we can also be resurrected with HIM. As the Lord Jesus said, "Because I live, you also will live."(John 14:19). The Lord Jesus also said: "Jesus saidto her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?"(John11:25-26). HE is King of kings, and Lord of lords: "which God will bring about in HIS own time—God, the blessed and only Ruler,the King of kings and Lord of lords"（1 Timothy 6:15）， Revelation also said that HE will come again: "Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written inthis scroll"（Revelation 22：7）.
